Every participant must have a waiver signed on file in the Recreation office.
If the participant is over 18 (must show proof of age), they may sign their own waiver.
If the participant is under 18, they must have their parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.
Once a waiver is signed the Recreation office will issue a Skate Park ID card.
This card must be presented to the attendant when entering the Skate Park. It will be returned when leaving the Skate Park.
This is to ensure all skaters have signed the waiver.
Any questions the parents or participants have about skate park rules and regulations may be addressed with the Recreation Office.
If a skater refuses to have a waiver signed or does not have the Skater ID Card, they may not skate in our facility. If they refuse to leave, the police (non-emergency) should be called to assist.
